Casa Foa 2007 - Diana Gradel

This is a small show, but so worth the trip just to see the venue in which the vendors present their showrooms. This year's train station locale inspired participating companies to utilize the arches, exposed brick and unique shapes of their spaces to present unique product displays. The trains rumbling by overhead just added to the overall experience of the show - you never forgot you were in a train station. Hands down, one of the coolest trade venues (and we cover more than 45+ shows a year!) to visit.
We have so much to post on both this show and our trendspotting around Argentina, but we will start with Diana Gradel - Disenadora De Interiores and their breathtaking booth. The kitchen and storage displays were gorgeous, especially the free standing range with hood, incorporated lighting and bright stainless countertops. However, what really caught our eye was the workspace built into the curves of the train station!

Stay Tuned... Casa Foa 2007 Coverage Soon!

We have a Sphere Trending Team in Buenos Aires as we blog and they are, among other trendspotting stops, dropping in at the Casa Foa 2007 show.

This show is unique because each year the FOA (Argentine Ophthalmologic Foundation) chooses a different location to completely rehab from a rundown space into a luxury local that will become residences, shops and part of the community after the show departs. This year's choice is the San Martin Railroad Palermo Station and the show runs from Sept. 28th through Nov. 25th. Limited to vendors and designers from Argentina, this show features the best this country has to offer in kitchen and bath design. Make sure to come back to the blog next week to read our posts on this show and our trendspotting around Buenos Aires!
