I learnt of Turkish designer Atilla Kuzu today (via Frame) and picked out these 2 notable works of his.
Formed simply with 16x30mm wood strips, where the spaces between each can be used for storing magazines and CDs, the 4X coffee table is stylish without a doubt. The form seems to defy gravity!
XYZ's Islamic-inspired design might be a tad overwhelming, but look beyond that and you'll see a modular unit which offers lots of color possibilities and flexibility of use. Modules can be added on easily to accomodate the user's needs.
