Being green and eco-friendly continued overall, but this year's focus on reusing materials and inventing completely new uses for old products increased in a big way.
Reestore - a company that "takes everyday waste products and cheekily turns them into charming, yet functional pieces of furniture and accessories" launched "Max the bathtub chaise". Each product created by Reestore has a "birth date, name & previous life" making buying these eco-friendly pieces a little like bringing home a new friend. Other recent introductions include "Ray the oil drum" and "Alan the Saab car seat".
