I don't like to exaggerate, but REK by Reinier de Jong is one of the smartest piece of furniture I've ever seen in my design career. Consisting of five sections which slide out individually, this bookcase accommodates books in the resulting voids as the user accumulates them. In short, it 'grows' with your collection!
