Bombay Sapphire Gin invited design students and recent graduates to enter the
Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition. Designers were asked to design a functional martini cocktail glass inspired by Bombay Sapphire and its striking translucent blue glass bottle – the winner received $15,000 and a trip to Milan to compete in an international competition. The deadline for entries in the next contest – March 1, 2008.
2007 Winner – Palletini by Michael Kritzer of Georgia is a blue and silver mother of pearl colored glass with a shape reminiscent of a painter’s palette to reflect the individual spirit of Bombay Sapphire Gin.
