Back to real estate stalking at last

Is it the downturn in the market or the fact that I am scouring the real estate pages for a development property of my own that I haven't been real estate stalking (more like just drowning in real estate) lately? Here's a small lot inner city pad perfect for your hip young couple or more likely your still hip older couple with pocket loads of cash. A little out of my price range. Here while the link lasts. And yes that is an open air shower. How cool taking a shower under the stars!

British beauty

I found this home for sale on British real estate site The Modern House Estate Agents, and I had to post it because it is totally funky, modern, eclectic and the rooms blend so well together. And it's got alot of grey. I am obsessed with grey.

Another Swedish flat

I am off work today, which is GREAT because I walk to work and I woke up to freezing rain. I just watched in horror as a bunch of people tried to walk down my street and found it easier to climb through the snow than walk on the icy pavement. So YAY for the government's compressed days off!!! I have a busy day planned - painting a couch my boyfriend built for me. Photos shall follow I hope in the next couple of days. In the meantime, I thought I'd do a quick post of a lovely flat I found here. I adore the whitewashed hardwood.

Here are a couple more photos from some other homes listed that stood out. That closet would be a dream come true and I love how they've decorated the hallway. Simple yet eye-catching and functional.

Simple stalking

Simplicity is calling me. A life stripped of frou frou and excessive trinkets. A neutral colour palette with texture for interest. Clean lines and .... a kick ass harbour view. Built in 1888 the Station Master's House is a Sydney icon. Recently sold at auction it confirms for me that life should be simple but fabulous. I love that these owners did not compete with what has to be one of the most amazing views of the harbour I have seen. I shudder to think what the price was. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking in Sweden

I’m real estate stalking a little further afield today. Sweden in fact. I’m a lot like Kim. I can’t get enough of Scandinavian homes and this apartment in Göteborg is gorgeous. So much white and a perfect porcelain stove. Pity it’s sold. Actually probably for the best. I have my eye on a property here in Australia. All this loveliness via brokers Alvhem.
