Old world loft

I am in a rush to get a post done so I can crash on my sofa after a crazy week and a half. I zipped over to Inspace Locations and found this lofty home - it instantly made me relax. Such an old world feel with exposed brick walls, and rough and rustic hardwood floors (OMG I would give anything for floors like that). Every inch of this this loft I swear was plucked from my dreams.

Cupboard love...

These cupboards called Naked Line have inspired me, I really like the colour combination of the orange and grey and I think I may try it out on the Aspvik unit I recently bought from IKEA for my loft. Sage green and grey would look good, now where did I put that spray paint?.........Via Design Milk

New year, new loft....

Well hopefully!!! David bought me the much coveted and lusted after Stendig calendar for Christmas and even though the loft isn't finished I just had to put it on the wall! We also went to IKEA last week and I bought an Aspvik cabinet which is a very good price, it's currently supported by my piles of Livingetc and ELLE Decoration magazines! I have chosen which colour flooring to have at long last ( the dark grey by the way ) and will be ordering it later today! Yay! Read More..

Loft with a country touch

How many lofts have you seen that rock a country vibe? I found a dreamy countrified loft designed by the editors of Country Home in 2004. It's country but with a bit of a modern, eclectic and romantic flair that is just amazing against the bones of this formerly empty warehouse loft. A pretty in pink living room with the unexpectedness of a bicycle hanging from the ceiling. A gas fireplace in the bathroom. The pièce de résistance, so simple yet SO effective, a walk-in closet that houses industrial rolling-rack shelves trimmed out with barn wood. LOVE THAT!!!

Industrial loft

I love this industrial loft featured on Beach Studios for location shoots. It's located in London in a converted industrial building and owned by a highly acclaimed furniture and interior designer. Amazing steel sliding doors and polished concrete floors. I'd maybe throw down a few kilims to warm the place up but other than that, it's got great bones.

Jealous

I desperately crave homes with architectural interest as mine is completely lacking. When I found this home on Lagerlings, I was in awe of the spaces, and how interesting the details are. One day...
