I've been bouncing ideas around my mind lately, thinking about some design proposals for several upcoming projects. Many people think that creative professionals can come up with a dozen ideas in a split second, but the fact is that even those with dozens of years of experience can have hard times coming up with ideas occasionally.

But then, there's always the internet to turn to for inspirations right?

For example, I'm pleasantly surprised at the decor of the Comic Khel suite located within Arte Luise Kunsthotel in Berlin: it looks like it came right out of, well, a comic book! The entire look is very graphical, and the effect just downright out-of-this-world. Marveling at this kinda stuff just brightens my day.

DESIGN YOUR HOME TO REFLECT YOUR PERSONALITY

How many times have you walked right into a room and was overwhelmed by how picture-perfect it looked? Almost like they had come off the pages of an interior design magazine? Actually, getting a room to look that way isn't really so tough if you know how to plan and utilize a space, choose good colors, beautiful fabrics and plush furniture (but then, if everybody can do that, there wouldn't be a need for interior designers anymore).

The truth is, not many of us like to live in a showroom, unless if you are one who can upkeep that kind of look on a daily basis. Instead, think about making a room really individual and unique by reflecting the distinct personality of the person (that's you!) who lives there. Try to design a room around special pieces that you cherish, family photos or memorabilia from travels. You'd love your room more, I assure you.
