Electrolux Design Lab

We love a great design contest here at Sphere and we're particularly fond of the annual Electrolux Design Lab competition challenging designers to create innovative small appliances. This year's nine finalists in themed "Appliances for the i-Generation"challenge don't disappoint!

We particularly like the "Flat-share Fridge" which allows each member of a family or multiple dwellers sharing a single residence their own section of the fridge.

The "Scan Toaster" is a USB toaster that prints news, weather or images onto slices of morning toast. The "Drawer Kitchen" is equipped with a desk-drawer hotplate and fridge that could be useful anywhere in the home.
