Who doesn't love wood? This 2-level house, so affectionately nicknamed Tree House by its owner, is situated in a dense grove of pines and hollies at Fire Island, New York. The beautiful exterior reminds me of a carved wood sculpture, but it's the interiors which really mesmerizes. I'm attracted to the treatment on the interior wall and cabinet surfaces - using raw looking cut cypress - as well as the bleached oak floor.
