In addition to using recycled aluminum, Eleek strives to incorporate green practices into the daily mechanics of running their business. The company sources aluminum locally from The ReBuilding Center (located less than a mile from their Portland shop) and 80% of their supplies are obtained within an 80-mile range. They operate on green electricity supplied by Pacific Power, use 100% recycled stock to make copies, and their silicone molds last for several thousand pours. Eleek has received awards from the Portland Office of Sustainable Development and Sustainable Industries Journal.
Eleek uses post-consumer recycled aluminum in their lighting products as well.
