Love the portfolio of San Francisco photographer Caren Alpert. The natural light is so crisp and clean. Her compositions may be quite simple but the photos are strong because of it. Strong and serene and focused. I guess honesty is the word I'm looking for. There's no artifice just a great talent capturing great shots. Check the food portfolio while you're at the website. Yummy. (I should write a food blog. I love food photography so much!)
