
I can't be happier when I saw this thread 'Classics you dislike' on Design Addict's forum. It's especially interesting to see how a design classic, which the majority of people looks up to, stands up to some really harsh criticisms.
For instance, I've never thought of Herman Miller's Aeron chair as a great looker despite its supposedly ergonomic design, and what many of my business aquaintances and colleagues would have me to believe. Now I know I'm not the only one to think that way. Well, I'm sure I never was, but this thread just confirmed that.
And now I've realized there's actually so many others I SHOULD hate instead. The picture on this post sums it all up.
