Prefab, green AND affordable is the goal of Jonathan and Mary Jo Davis, co-founders of Davis Studio Architecture + Design's recently launched line of modular homes called pieceHomes. While many prefab companies are selling their models for $400-500 per square foot the Davis' would like to offer smaller, more affordable homes for around $200 per sq. foot. In the future they would also like to offer their green & sustainable homes complete with furnishings, linens and furniture - the whole package for their consumers.
