Ambassadors, Supreme Court Justices, playwrights, professors and composers just to name a few. Presidential candidates John McCain, Mitt Romney & Bill Richardson are also "Big Thinkers". All content can be rated by members of the site and topic groups include "wisdom, arts & culture, policy & politics, philanthropy, identity" etc. 
The site is currently still in it's beta version but popularity is growing swiftly with the debates, caucuses and politics creating many new members and posts. So, if you are ready to try social networking on a higher level Big Think might be the place to jump in!
