Chair upholstery

I have an old office chair that I have a love-hate relationship with. I hate the awful green (going to recover it one day in Florence Broadhurst's yellow bamboo fabric) but it's so comfortable and handy for me to move from supplies cabinet to desk without getting up. These chairs are not easy to pull apart to recover! No screws, no idea how it's all put together! Anyone with ideas?
