I think this mapping of fruit trees in towns and cities is a wonderful idea. So many trees in my town go unpicked and neglected--I think people have this idea that processing and picking the fruit is too much effort and time consuming. In fact, in Boulder my next door neighbors let all of their peaches from two trees land and rot instead of making pies or other delicious recipes.
