I think I spot a design classic in the making with Mathias Hahn's Scantling lamps (available in floor and hanging versions). I have to rave about the light’s versatility to adapt to different illumination situations, thanks to its hidden mechanism which uses friction without the usual self-loosening.
My, how I love the timber finish...
