Trashy is built by Metrik Studio who dubs this product the ultimate multipurpose kitchen island. What makes this island so great?
Trashy is a three-in-one island with a modern aesthetic on rugged caster wheels with a slide away top and plenty of space for cooking and preparing. Underneath the top are separate bins for recyclables and compost materials. A side drawer bin holds trash bound for the landfill and there is even a small bin devoted to battery recyclables.
The island is constructed of 100% post-industrial recycled formaldehyde-free MDF from Sierra Pine. The bins are washable and the catalyzed lacquer coating is available in three different colors. Custom options include a butcher block top, chalkboard fronts and towel bar. And, if that's not enough choices, you can work with a designer to create your very own Trashy.
