micro car museum: where did we take a wrong turn?

I was just searching the web and by accident found the most amazing museum ever.... the Micro Car Museum! The world could be a much better place if we were all driving around in these friendly little buggers- you cannot help but smile when you look at them.

These cars were all born out of necessity after World War II came to an end in 1945 and Europe lay in ruins. A shell-shocked population came out of the bomb shelters and faced an unimaginable scene of devastation and ruin. Talented engineers once in the aviation industry came up with these fascinating tiny solutions for transportation. Brilliant. Useful in the task of clearing away the rubble with shortages of food, raw materials, electricity and gas.

This Bruce Weiner Micro Car Museum collection is primarily focused on Microcars in the late 1940's- pre-1964 range with Engine sizes of 700cc or less (many are 250cc and 50cc) and 2 doors or less. You may see the collection in person at Dubble Bubble Acres, 50 miles east of Atlanta in Morgan County.
