Created by the brainiacs behind Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People, this store opened inside of Styers, a historic flower and garden center that's over 100 years old who still has a stading order to supply the White House their peonies. Terrain aims to bring green, contemporary design to the garden center along with a cafe serving local, organic fare. Of course, they have some really innovative retail displays to boot! Here are some pictures to satisfy your curiosity for now, but I guarantee you, if one of us gets to the Philly area soon, we are heading in there!Friday, May 2, 2008
Improving the Garden Center
We get excited about new retail stores and innovative display ideas - really we do! Once we find out a new store is opening we are either scheming on how to squeeze more time in day for a little retail visit or we are scouring the Internet for pictures. As it so happens, Terrain, a new gardening, nursery and outdoor fashion store, opened this week.
