inspi(RED)

i wrote about being so inspired and captivated by a magenta and red plush elephant in the Indigo bookstore just a few entries below. it was too expensive for us to buy for m-oh, I mean, Hannah ;)

i aim to build Hannah a room that isn't pink or blue. i was going to dress Hannah in non-pinks when she was born and growing up but it's frustrating not finding anything that isn't... girly for girls :P I actually like the look of the boy clothes! so practical and actually great colour combinations!

anyway.

one of my favourite designers, Sarah Richardson, had a baby girl about the same time as Hannah and her nursery (pictured below) for daughter Robin is what I want for my little girl. something non-nursery, non-pink. something with RED!

so. now I'm building the room (in my mind) and scouring Ebay for similar objects. so if you see a giraffe or elephant lamp around (not-childish) let me know!
