The largest consumer owned natural food co-operative is located right in Seattle, so we couldn't resist stopping into a PCC Natural Markets to see what all the buzz is about.

PCC Natural Markets advocates high-quality food standards while supporting local, sustainable and organic agriculture. They have established the PCC Farmland Trust to help protect and preserve farmland and help it move to organic production. The store itself is an oasis of instructional signage, easy to navigate aisles of fresh meats, produce and groceries. The "Kid's Pick" program offers free fruit for kids when they visit the store along with specific tasting events for kids to try organic and healthy foods in a fun and energetic setting.
